This collection of 23 briefing papers from leading counter-piracy experts was prepared by DSG for the conference entitled “Global Challenge, Regional Responses: Forging a Common Approach to Maritime Piracy,” held in Dubai on April 18-19, 2011. The conference was organized by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and DP World. Editors included Stephen Brannon, Taufiq Rahim, Cyrus Hodes, Theodore Karasik and Ekram Al Yacoub.
