The Dubai School of Government and the Legatum Institute are hosting the first annual Arab-region conference on "Best Practices in Entrepreneurship Policy" in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, November 19-20, 2009. BPEP

The conference organizers will select academic papers on policies affecting entrepreneurship in the Arab world, or any other area whose insight may help us to better understand the policies to create a business climate that best fosters the creation and success of new ventures. Both theoretical and empirical papers are welcome, in any discipline. We are especially interested in reaching advanced graduate students, professors and scholars working in the fields of entrepreneurship, finance, commercial law, insolvency law, Islamic banking, and relevant Middle Eastern studies. Papers may be in Arabic, English or French.

The deadline for submission of an advanced draft is October 25, 2009. Selected papers will be announced by November 1, 2009. Late papers will be considered on an exceptional basis.
