Asma Siddiki is Associate Dean for Development at the Dubai School of Government. Prior to joining DSG in November 2007, Dr. Siddiki served at Effat University (then College), the first private institution of higher education in Saudi Arabia, most recently as Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, and previously as Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Coordinator of the pre-college Effat Academic Institute. Dr. Siddiki’s teaching experience includes serving as Assistant Professor at both Effat College and King Abdul Aziz University, and as Tutor at the University of Oxford.

Dr. Siddiki holds a doctoral degree in Psycholinguistics and a master’s degree in General Linguistics from the University of Oxford in England. She received her undergraduate degree in English Literature and Language from King Abdul Aziz University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
