Dr. Fatma Abdulla is the Managing Director of Global Consulting Associates, a strategic advisory firm focused on the wellness, healthcare and higher education industries. She holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education from the University of Arizona, an M.Sc. in Nursing Administration and Public Health from California State University , and a B.Sc. in Nursing from Mt. Saint Mary’s College.

Prior to starting Global Consulting Associates, Dr. Abdulla was Chief Strategy Officer for Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC). Dr. Abdulla was also the Dean of Health Sciences, Communication Technology and Education at the Higher Colleges of Technology where she developed the largest health sciences campus in the UAE. In the United States, Dr. Abdulla was Program Director at the County of Los Angeles Public Health Programs and Services. She has also held numerous positions in prominent US hospitals and academic institutions.

Dr. Abdulla is the recipient of numerous awards and academic honors such as the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Award for Academic Excellence, the Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum Award for Academic Achievement, the County of Los Angeles Public Health Programs and Services Award for Outstanding Performance, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Award for Contribution to Nursing, as well as numerous awards from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
